"The stories paint an inspiring picture of what it’s like living today as a third ager"
I decided when I made my tree change in the glorious Blue Mountains, to turn my ‘semi-retirement’ into a third career.
Writing has always been a part of my life . I have been a radio copywriter, a ‘one-women’ small tourism magazine operator, a promoter of professional speakers and corporate trainers, requiring both verbal and written skills. I seem to have always been putting pen to paper.
And now in the Blue Mountains it’s what I still choose to do except this time I am encouraging others to write about themselves. I am interested in other people’s lives and reflections...especially now, when like a fine wine, we have reached a certain stage of maturation!
I am interested in the ‘how, when, where, why, what and who’ of their stories and especially intrigued in how they view their lives currently and in retrospect. And of course any words of wisdom they wish to impart. Of particular interest are those individuals who manage to lead positive, ‘successful’ lives while having to overcome often what seems to be insurmountable hurdles. What can we learn from these ‘bold, brave & (bloody) brilliant individuals? Read on!
