Reviews for Bold, Brave & (bloody) Brilliant
"As I grew, my urge to get out grew with me.

"I really enjoyed reading Di's story. Her words describing the house at Matong and family visits, the weather and landscape are very familiar to me. This part of the country is not far from where I currently live, about 67km, but that path is a part of my beat, my song line; my family went that way from Tumut to Griffith. I am inspired by the will to follow your dream. Di, it takes a lot to reach out and ask, it’s a challenge to put yourself out there. My father was also a railway man, so I can relate to being on the train.
The revelation of your Aboriginal heritage, the unspoken, the small town racism, are all expressed in a dignified way. I think it’s a wonderful example of life at that time . I am loving the show biz life, green rooms , soundness checks, standing ovations, if only I could sing.
I recommend Songlines a look back at the love of family, dreams , music, country and identity . With much love."
